The Self-assessment

A young boy entered a shop and carried a box down the telephone booth. The boy stood above the box and reached the phone buttons. He began calling. The shopkeeper looked at the situation and began to listen to the boy's conversation.

The boy said: "Madam: Can I work for you in refining the grass of your garden?".
she replied: "I have someone doing this work,".
The boy said: "I can work with half-price taken by this person,".

The woman replied that she was satisfied with that person's work and didn't want to replace him.
The boy became more urgent: "I will also clean the pedestrian walkway and the pier in front of your house. Your garden will be the most beautiful garden in Palm Beach Florida,".

Again the woman answered with disapproval. The boy smiled and closed the phone.

The shopkeeper, "who was listening to the conversation", said to the boy, "I liked your high esteem, I respect your positive sentiment, and I offer you a chance to work for me in the shop."

No, thank you for your offer. I just make sure from my performance of my work, I work for this woman which I was talking to. ".
