The wolf and the stork

Wolves eat greed.
A wolf so being prairie,
Squeezed, they say, so much
That he thought he lost his life.
A bone stayed long before his throat.
Of happiness for this Wolf, who could not cry,
Near there passes a stork.
He beckons to her, she runs.
Here is the Operator immediately at work.
She removed the bone; then for such a good trick
She asked for her salary.
Your salary ? said the Wolf:
You laugh, my good friend.
What! it is not yet much
To have my throat removed your neck?
Go, you are a thankless;
Never fall under my paw.
